Physical Speed=Better Fitness=Longer Life
Have you ever noticed the difference in speed between a child or young adult, and a senior citizen. As we get older, we get slower, especially if we are not physically active. The faster someone is, the more physically fit they usually are, and the longer they can expect to live. Assuming that they are eating good food and getting enough sleep and rest, and not doing other harmful things to their health. Like Drinking Alcohol or Smoking. I don't know of any Top Athletes that smoke. Some may chew, but the smoke is what lowers your lung capacity. Which is vital for endurance. Aerobic exercises aid in clearing your lungs. Other benefits are improved circulation, getting lean, and improving coordination.
